Water leak inspection services
Thermal survering technologyAerial thermal mapping will reveal leaks in all types of systems, like steam and condensate return lines, hot water lines, chilled water lines, supply water mains, distribution pipes, storm water drains, building heat lossand moisture leaks into your roofs.
1. Detection of Heating Lines: Underground or steam tunnel heating lines can be easily identified using infrared imaging, regardless of whether there are apparent issues. This is attributed to the inevitable heat loss from the lines, resulting in surface temperature changes, regardless of the insulation's effectiveness.
2. Inspection of Chilled Water Lines: Since chilled water supply (CHWS) and chilled water return (CHWR) lines are cooler than the surrounding surface temperature, infrared imaging can also be used to detect thermal losses and leaks in these systems.
3. Liquid Leak Detection in Waterways: Within a given area of any waterway, homogeneous temperature patterns prevail, except where another liquid joins the flow. Leakages and the warm plume of liquid mixing and flowing downstream with the main water flow are visible in the thermal infrared spectrum, facilitating their detection.
Eco-Friendly & Non-DestructiveThermal inspection using electrical drones is an eco-friendly and non-intrusive approach for asset evaluation.
This inspection method reduces operational and maintenance costs.
It ensures safety during inspections, minimizing potential risks, and complies with financial and warranty requirements, enhancing asset transparency. Additionally, it offers effective leak detection and comprehensive analysis through thermal imaging cameras.
Commissioned by our customer, we flew two missions along Puhe Road, Shenbei District, Shenyang, taking about 30 minutes, and completed a total of 6.28 kilometers of road thermal scanning. I think the technology we use is more efficient and collects more information than any similar hand tool. Through thermal scanning, as well as data analysis, we found two major sources of leakage and a large amount of available data, which was unanimously endorsed by our customers.
