Using visible spectra for crop analysis in the air

Generating 2D maps of farmland using modern agricultural mapping software

(1) Using predefined lists to measure agriculture:

1.TGI - Triangular Greenness Index   RGB (Red Green Blue) index for chlorophyll sensitivity

2.VARI - Visible Atmospherically Resistant Index RGB index for leaf coverage, was designed to introduce an atmospheric correction and is a good index to estimate the vegetation fraction from the visible range of the spectrum. This index can be used to analyze crops in all growth stages.

3.or input custom index formula to understand plant stress better

(2)Zonate and prescribe:

Aggregate the information from the vegetation index maps into zones and assign application rates.

(3)Compare

Link different layers of information and compare your crop trends over time in a split or a double screen.

(4)Draw and annotate

Focus your analysis only to your area of interest and highlight the crop ‘focus areas’ for a more in-depth inspection
